Emerson Bandini is located near Interstates 5 and 15. It was built in the 1900's and was named after Ralph Waldo Emerson (May 25, 1803 – April 27, 1882) an American essayist, philosopher, poet, and leader of the transcendentalist movement in the early 19th century, and Juan Bandini (1800-1859), an honored citizen of California, who saw it pass from Spanish into Mexican hands and lived to take a prominent part in making it an American State.
As a result of each learning experience at Emerson-Bandini Elementary School, the learners will be empowered with the skills and confidence to improve the lives, the communities, and the worlds they touch.
